The Employers Consultative Association (ECA) is saddened by the news of the passing of former Prime Minister and Political Leader of the People's National Movement, Mr. Patrick Augustus Mervyn Manning, our nation fourth and sixth Prime Minister.

The Employers’ Consultative Association (ECA) of Trinidad and Tobago wishes to extend warm greetings to all stakeholders in the Labour Movement and by extension, the nation of Trinidad and Tobago on the occasion of Labour Day. As a premier Employers Organisation, the ECA is heartened to see the strides that we have made as a country, despite numerous hurdles.

“The need for a National Workplace Policy on HIV/AIDS in all workspaces is of increasing importance given the significant presence of the disease in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean region and its increasing risk to our workforce in their most productive years.”

The Employers Consultative Association of Trinidad and Tobago (ECA), represented by CEO, Joycelyn Francois-Opadeyi, recently returned from Turin, Italy as a successful participant in the International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) management training on Effective Business Member Organisations (BMO).
