Effective Letter Writing for HR & IR (Part 2) - Administrative & Performance

Effective Letter Writing for HR & IR (Part 2) - Administrative & Performance

As an HR/IR professional, you are probably used to daily writing – emails, job postings, internal communication, and policies. During an employee’s life cycle in the company, various correspondences are also necessary - be it when the employee was offered the job, during the onboarding process, or during a performance review...the list can go on and on!

HR/IR letters are essential forms of documentation that should be clear, concise and legally sound between an employer and employee. An ineffective or misleading document reduces the productivity of all parties involved in the employment relationship.

OBJECTIVES

This hands-on workshop is designed to provide participants with practical experience in drafting essential letters and correspondences commonly used in industrial relations and human resource communication. Through real-world scenarios and guided exercises, participants will develop a clear understanding of the appropriate context and circumstances for issuing each type of correspondence.

Additionally, the programme aims to deepen participants' knowledge of sound industrial relations principles and best practices, enhancing their ability to navigate workplace matters with professionalism and compliance.
