ECA extends condolences on the passing of former President George Maxwell Richards It is with great sadness that the Employers Consultative Association of Trinidad and Tobago (ECA) learnt of the passing of former President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, Professor George Maxwell Richards. Indeed, Professor Richards bequeaths to posterity a legacy of illustrious service and significant accomplishments of which his family, friends and loved ones can be eternally proud. The ECA will particularly remember His Excellency’s love for life and his ability to appreciate and enjoy those things that are uniquely Trinidad and Tobago. He was an exemplary citizen, a consummate professional, a distinguished President and most importantly, a committed family man.
