According to the World Economic Forum, skills such as Critical thinking and problem-solving top the list of skills employers believe will grow in prominence in the next five years.

In 2020, new skills in self-management such as active learning, resilience, stress tolerance and flexibility have already begun to emerge as vital to the success of organisational leaders – at all levels – both today and for the future. In this regard, the Future of Jobs Survey done by the World Economic Forum estimates that around 40% of workers will require reskilling.

This programme will:

  • Identify emergent skills required for effective leadership in the "new normal" environment.
  • Examine the attitudes, behaviours and characteristics of effective leaders in the context of the current VUCA environment.
  • Explore the relevance and application of C.H.I.E.F. competencies.
  • Underscore why Emotional Intelligence matters.
