The COVID-19 pandemic has caused among many other workplace issues the prevalence of sick leave abuse. In this session, we will explore relevant strategies in-keeping with good Industrial Relations principles and practice on how to address sick leave abuse and explore safeguards that could be implemented to protect the organization and its employees and ensure the financial costs attached to sick leave abuses are kept at a minimum.
