Crisis communication is critical to an organisation’s reputation, which can be considered its most valuable asset. When that reputation comes under attack, either through an incident, negative PR or due to perceived poor customer service, protecting and defending it should become the highest priority. Too often, organisations fall victim to having a poor communications strategy and response in times of crisis resulting in an exacerbation of an already bad situation.
The course will emphasize the practical applications of public relations strategies by companies and organisations during headline-grabbing crises and explore key takeaways to improve your organisation's own crisis communication strategy.
